About 1117

Conveniently located near the heart of downtown, Abilene’s premiere 7,000sqft creative studio space and venue offers the perfect space for the blending of artistic expression & creation with a focus on career growth and entrepreneurship.

We house 10 Working Resident Artists with studio spaces, each specializing in their own artistic mediums. We also welcome and host guest artist and exibits!

Shows are free to the public. Stop in for a creative experience!

Join us for the Opening Reception of “Creativity Is Contagious” the Abilene Creative Arts Club 2025 Member Exhibition- Juried Art Show!

Saturday, April 5th from 6PM-8PM at 1117 Studios & Gallery.

On view are the best artworks of club members including paintings, watercolors, mixed media, photography, sculpture and ceramics. The artists, and judge of the show Dub Wellborn, will be on hand to answer your questions and chat about the joys and struggles of the art experience.

The show runs through May 16, 2025. Free event. Refreshments Provided.
